While number 5 may be true, I've been to the library before here in Houston, and it's not enforced! LOL

Great TT. Haven't posted mine yet.

Cool list!! I wonder how you can shower without being nude?

I'm not playing TT this week. Great list!!! I think I'll move to Georgia where karaoke is outlawed!!!
Only LA would outlaw Silly String!
I think No. 5 is aimed at the homeless.

LA is a silly place, so you'd think they would encourage the use of silly string.

Hehehehehehee!

I have some doubts about Italy, but don't know really. Stupid laws apparently are in the whole world, lol !
I put pictures of 13 workshops from my Summer school on my blog for TT.

LOL at #5, but #7 would get my vote! Ice Cream Truck music drives me crazy. You'd think after 50 years they'd change it to something less annoying.

What a load of spoil sports :-)

I know. I know. The kids' excitement in the 'hood when that 'tinkling' is heard on the ice cream truck...but I'm happy to hear it's illegal somewhere! What a pain. LOL

Happy T-13. Again, I have a return of Jefé --and her witty thirteen statements on life. Come on over, have a laugh or two!

LOL, great list, I have a very outdated book of crazy laws so I was thinking of hunting down some for a future TT, in addition to a TT at The Cafe, I also have my very first at Mama Bear Reads. Hope you'll check out both.

I agree with the body oder and baggy pants. I hate those things!!

Mary, please don't be sorry I didn't take that snub the English have made against our Houston library seriously, I knew they were all funnies.

Us Texans just have to stick together and defend our reputations as best we can. Houston may even have an old ordinance like that laying around.

I'm usually like Suzie above, I don't like other peoples' body odors either.
But ...
Just this Sunday I was helping a friend move some furniture into her nursing home room.
Her friend and husband were helping as well, the other lady is originally from France.
The French lady obviously wasn't using underarm deoderant. Her smell reminded me of my teen age days and some of those smells, I almost fell in love again! Just as good as a wet puppy dog smells.

Some of those would be pretty difficult to enforce!
Happy T13!

I lived in Las Vegas for ten years. The homeless never ate so good until the day they passed the law saying it was illegal to feed them. I gave away my Thanksgiving Dinner (yep, the ban went into effect in November just before Thanksgiving!) The law was repealed within days. The adverse publicity wasn't good for the city, or the mayor's, image.

I would vote for #7 and #11 if it was ever on a list here. Both are annoying :o)
Have a great Thursday, teach!

What an intriguing topic and fascinating list. Who knew??? One wonders why ... and how most could possibly be enforced?
Hugs and blessings,

How can you outlaw Satan? Who'd be able to arrest him?
