Six-Word Memoirs Contest - Winners!

~SEE MY THURSDAY THIRTEEN POST BELOW~

I found it very hard to judge the extraordinary entries that everyone posted in the comments. They were all so good. But I measured them against Hemingway's most famous six-word memoir: "For Sale: baby shoes, never worn."

Today I am pleased to announce the winners of the
"Six-Word Memoirs" contest.

First place winner is Mo of It's A Blog Eat Blog World

Congratulations, Mo!

For your entry: "Came out, found love, now alone."

Second place winner is Kathi of Feathering My Nest

Congratulations, Kathi!

For your entry: "Period: death of a dream - Barren.

Third place winner is Janna of The Jannaverse

Congratulations, Janna!

For your entry: "Smiles hid the tears, every time."

I give to all participants in this contest the participant's award. Thank you so much! I had fun, I hope you did too!

(Cut and paste the award into a post on your blog. Or paste it in your sidebar.)

Those are great. Congratulations to Mo. Of course, I thought of another one after the contest was over:

It was very interesting getting here.

Thank you so much Mary, for having this competion. I've never entered one of these, nor ever did it enter my mind to do so. I don't write and I have no idea how to write, especially poetry. I just wandered over to your blog for show and tell and got interested in your blog. I have suffered from writer's block since I was eight years old from a cruel and stern teacher. This was amazingly liberating for me. Thanks again. I'm so honored to recieve 2nd place. Good job Mo, and congratulations on 1st place. Everyone did great. Blessings~ Kathi
