Show and Tell Friday

Show and Tell Friday is hosted by Kelli of There is No Place Like Home.

Today I'd like to show you my computer desktop monitor. It's got a beautiful picture as wallpaper:

Gentle Dock, County Donegal, Ireland

I change my wallpaper often. Usually I use a picture of a Caribbean beach because that's what I dream about in the Winter.

Can you guess where the desktop icons are?

Check out other participants.

Oh pretty!!! Now, I gotta tell you what my desktop has....are we supposed to? LOL

I found a very old photo of my dad [when he had a full head of hair!!] and I enlarged it and put that up on my computer's wallpaper.

I think I'm like Gattina...yours is romantic in such a way that it's also very serene.

Oh anni, I think that's a great idea...showing each other what our desktop looks like...We should do it. I have to figure out how we can get everyone to do it...

I was never good at Where's Waldo.....so no I can't find the icons...unless that's them all down neatly on the toolbar. Or you hid them in the boat, that's it.

Lovely picture.
My desktop is always a different picture of a fairy, unless it is December than I have a Christmas theme.

County Donegal is second to none. In the hands of the poet Cathal O Searcaigh it is second to none times two!

Your wallpaper is indeed beautiful. I think you just hid your icons. That's a neat little trick. Have a great Friday and weekend Teach. :)

The icons are hidden. Sandee told me how to do this. Just right click the desktop and click on hide icons. That's it! :)

Lovely picture. It is fun we can change them out. I had my grandson on mine and just changed it to my Littlest Angel.

How did you get all the icons in the bar like that? I've never seen that before.

What a beautiful picture!! You can check with the photo dept. of your local Walmart. My sister takes in 80 slides at a time. They do them in the 1Hour for less than 5.00 put them on a cd. Thanks for sharing.

Oh, that is so beautiful and relaxing! I love it! I change my desk top wallpaper a lot too. Right now at home it is a picture of my son and his girlfriend. At work it is a picture of a farmhouse next to a pond (my dream house). At work I try to have a picture of something soothing and calming. I am going to have to try to find your picture of Ireland for next time!

Hugs, Sharon

How pretty! Mine has a picture of a hammock that I took while we were camping last summer, specifically for the purpose of using it as my wallpaper this winter!
