There are fat books (like Tom Brokaw's book, Boom) and NARROW books. Two very NARROW books on this shelf in my office are Book Lovers Quotations given to me as a gift and Pink Geishas which is a collection of my poems.Here's a quote from Book Lovers Quotations:

I don't know why books become more and more fat, I realize it because the shelf becomes narrow. I should put them on diet !

Since my boys aren't readers (wounds me to the heart), narrow books are the ONLY books they care for. lol

I was intrigued by the title of your blog. I saw it on the big bang tag. I'd love to be a poet, too, but sadly, I'm not good at it. I've seen a lot of pictures on the photo hunt thing but you're the first one I've seen who posted books. I love reading, too. And I also taught college students when I was younger.
