Ruby Tuesday

Welcome to Ruby Tuesday everybody!

I put up this new badge last week. If anyone wants it take it by right clicking on it, selecting Save the Image and it will download to your computer.

These are two decorative paintings I found at Meadowbrook Pointe, a condo complex across from the Roosevelt Field Mall off the Meadowbrook Parkway on Long Island, NY.

If you click the link above you'll see the place is very nice. It is a gated community. There are various models with 1, 2, and 3 bedrooms. We went with friends to see the place. I was interested in seeing what I could photograph...

Don't forget to sign Mr. Linky and leave a comment. But MORE importantly visit your fellow bloggers.

What sweet paintings. I'm in awe of people who can draw and paint, I can't manage so much as a straight line without a ruler!

Tee hee. I take my camera everywhere. You just never know what your camera might be attracted too. :) And look what it found and captured! :)

Those are lovely paintings Mary!
I love visiting places like that to get ideas on how to decorate - cheaper than a decorator. :)

I cannot thank you enough for hosting Ruby Tuesday, dear teach Mary.
I see the world in a brand new way, and am slowly learning patience. I hardly go anywhere without bringing my camera nowadays.

I like both the paintings you found.
Somehow the bird in the cage appeals especially to me.
I used to picture myself with goldfishes, a parrot and a cat when I got old.
At the age of 60 I haven't even got the goldfish.

I like that birdcage - harkens back to a long gone era.

Happy Tuesday,

Hi Mary ~~ I will look at your Meadowbrooke Pointe. Why don't you buy a nice unit and lease us out a month's worth? That would help you pay for it and give us a month's time in NYC!

Happy RT! I did like your find. Mrs. Jim visits new complexes and homes to see how they were decorated. That is a fun thing to do once in a while.

Neat paintings, and of course the red rose makes it. I have a photo of a Chenille plant; have you ever seen one before?
