Tisha hosts Looking at the Sky on Friday. So look what I have for you today! You have to stand at a certain place in the Flushing Marina (right across from CitiStadium) and wait for the planes landing at LaGuardia. Then you try to locate the plane in your LED display (no small task!) and shoot the photo...
Here's what I got:
I'm going back to try again and do better.
Go on over to Crazy Working Mom to see other participants.

Mary,
That looks like a lot of fun! There is something about watching planes land and take off that is facinating to me...thanks for the post!
very very nice..feels like you can touch them
ummm that second one is landing in a funny way....
They are great pictures. If I tried it they would just look like specks.
I dont' know how much better you could get...these are awesome :)
I think you did very well. When we are in California sitting on the beach, it's difficult to get a photo of the military aircraft that flies overhead because a) they fly pretty quickly, even when landing, and b) we're usually sitting directly underneath them!
Well you did so well AWesome I love them
wonderful captures all!
Wow very impressive pictures !
Better??? These are fantastic to me.
Nice shots all .. and even nicer there were no birds in the way
These are beautiful shots departing/landing at LGA. I was hoping for that last week in Hartford...I do enjoy looking at aluminum birds an all phases of flight!
Mary, you did good getting all those plane pictures. I know it is hard, very hard.
Happy SkyLooking. I have more French skies, water, and boat things, plus.
Air France flies directly from Houston to Paris so we could bypass LaGuardia this time. :-)
..
you did great!!
I've been trying to do this with the gulls at the marina ;)
Kool! I've been wondering if we're allowed to photograph planes at our airport. I keep meaning to look into that.
I love the banner too.
What great pictures you got. The color and clearness is wonderful.
Nice job, Mary!!! I'm sure your plane captures were much harder to snap than mine. You've done a brilliant job. The pictures are crisp and clear. I feel like I'm at the airport. Thanks so much for playing along.

What a marvelous series of photos ... and a great idea for a theme! Planes fly over my house occasionally (depending on weather and wind patterns) but not low enough to get great shots like these!
Hugs and blessings,
I think those are really impressive shots. Nicely done.
