Ruby Tuesday

I call this shot "Surreal Holiday."
What I did was shoot out my office window after dark at the house across the street. What you see are her Christmas lights (red, green and yellow) inside and outside; her silhouette as she decorates the tree inside; all the things on my desk reflected  and blurred in the window.

I kinda like it, do you?

You have an interesting shot here, Mary. There's so much to see. :)

What a pity that the image is so noisy. But it is nice of the reflections in the glass. Here is my first contribution to Ruby Tuesday.

That's quiet a "modern art" photo, lol ! very colorful !

Like looking at some modern art. You would not know what it is until the artist tell you. But since you did, I like the layers and the meanings attached to it.

Interesting red, Mary!

Mary....your visted link is black in color and I couldn't see my 1st link. I was logged into my own blog admin --so it looked black from 'visited link' So, if you'd like delete one of them since it's a double posted link. [#s44 and/or 45---Poinsettia with a twist]

I think your image is kinda eerie and ghostly...like you said, surreal.

Very festive. Nothing so happy as that from me during this difficult week I'm afraid, but I couldn't let it pass unmarked.

I'm sure glad you explained this, I was squinting and scratching my head, too.

Cool effect. Reminds me of when I was a kid and I would squint at the tree lights to make them change effects.

Well, yes, I do like it. It's interesting, the colors and shapes are pleasing, and all coordinates well. I don't even mind the "noise" as it reminds me of paint speckles.

Mary there seems to be a probl;em with the link color. Some are showing up and some are not. I had a hard time finding out how to post a comment the link only shows up when a hover around. think it is a color code selection. Hope you can fix it.

A montage with one snap of the shutter! I like the effect of combining a reflection (or two) with the image on the other side of the glass.
