Ruby Tuesday

Today we celebrate Ruby Tuesday again. I went to Brooklyn to find some wonderful shots for today. We took Jarome to the park and passed this beautiful front door on the way.
A brownstone in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn.

Don't forget to sign Mr. Linky and visit your RT friends.

Mary, I think my father grew up on Carroll Street in Brooklyn... of course, I have no idea where that is, and I doubt it looked as lovely as this, as his parents were new immigrants.

Yet again I'm forced to cheat and let a post do double duty. I'm back working full time out of the house for a month or two and it is seriously eating into my blogging time. Feh!

Lovely door Mary, very elegant.

This brownstone, like all in the borough of Brooklyn, is stunning. Solid in style, delicate in details, this offers a pinkish tint that is unique. The planters are beautiful. what a nice neighborhood!

Lovely red pots. It always amazes me how many comments one get on the flower pots placed on their stairs.

There is nothing like a Brooklyn brownstone. Except a San Francisco brownstone! I'm about due to visit NYC. The Brooklyn Museum is one of my favorites of those I've been to both at home and internationally.

Speaking of SF, my entry was taken there.

Have a great week!

Peace,
Gina

I got to apartment sit in Brooklyn for a couple of weeks several years ago and the architecture is amazing there. The botanical garden was my favorite place... well so was the art museum in Manhattan.

Oh wow, Brooklyn in New York City? I have been in New York City but we didn't push through farther to Brooklyn. I like the design of the door and the red flower pots too.

It's lovely door indeed...

Love that elegant door.

It would be a problem as it's easy for burglars to break in if it's installed in certain countries. :P
