Tracy is the host of Shadow Shot Sunday.
The Titanic Memorial at Woodlawn Cemetery
In 1912, Mrs. Anna Bliss dedicated this larger than life memorial to those who died in the sinking of the Titanic. The quotation on the [back] front reads "Our souls have sight of that immortal sea which brought us hither" from Wordsworth. Mrs Bliss is interred in a crypt cut into the back of the monument.
The memorial sits atop a small hill and it is incredible to see. We spent a good long time admiring it.
Go visit Tracy at Hey Harriet to see the Galleries Tracy creates so you can see what other participants do!

That's just beautiful Mary.
This is wonderful my friend. So calming :)
That is incredibly romantic. And downright sad.
Love the pose position of these figures! The pair seems to suggest a story just in body language alone. And lovely play of shadows round their limbs!
The statue is so poignant and your photographs of it are beautiful.
This week's Take This Tune is "Whistle Down The Wind"
