Stammtisch means "Family table." We had an excellent meal (I had the same thing I ate last time I was here. Veal Cordon Bleu.) They didn't have Potato Pancakes because they don't make them on the weekends. What's that all about?
Hope you'll join us for Ruby Tuesday and post some RED, a lot or a little, in your own photos.

Love the brilliant red in these pics - not so easy to obtain such a true vermillion red!
Happy Ruby Tuesday to everyone!
X LOLA:)
German pics for St Patty's week - works for me since I am an Irish/German/Scot
No potato pancakes on the weekend? Gah! That's just wrong! I really like the stained glass.
what fun!
Had a computer malfunction just as I was completing the RT post's final pics (am now "borrowing" another) - rest assured will be up just as soon as my own computer's fixed.
Lola:)
Taking any orders?
German knuckles please :P *droolz*
How great and sooo fitting for this week :)
I thought I got lost because you're post above is dated March 18... :D
I got problems seeing the photos, they ain't loading...I'd be back to see what's up in the "cracker barrel"
Mmmm... potato pancakes. I love all the bright colors here. Happy RT Mary.
i love stained glass windows and these are really beautiful!
Am finally able to see them! cordon blue and schnitzel are the best!
Like your previous post about delectable German food, spaetzle and Pilsner completes a fine meal. Lovely stained glass!
Greetings! I saw shamrocks for sale in the supermarket yesterday. Today I've got some red items from Disney's Animal Kingdom.

Me again! Fixed -at last!
LOLA:)
Yhe windows have such a vibrant array of colours and love the detailed action of the figures!
Beautiful stained glass and windows!
All this talk of food makes me think I might grab a snack before visiting all these Ruby posts. :)
Red is said to be the colour that stimulates the appetite! So it added to the enjoyment of your palate!
I'm glad you had the opportunity to photograph some great windows AND get a good meal!
I would have been terribly disappointed over the lack of potato pancakes. There are no German restaurants close to us but we ate at one in San Francisco that was excellent!
I'm playing today, Mary. All the girls in the photo are expecting! ;-)
Hello Mary! Love those stained glass windows! I love potato pancakes...Happy Ruby to you...
Beautiful stained glasses at the Family Table. If the rest of the restaurant keeps the same standard, it sure must be worth a visit.
Interesting stained glass. Great choice for RT.
Beautiful surroundings but I wonder about those potato pancakes too.

Rach
Aw those arrr great rubies Lass!
I have mine up Marry it has been a long time sense I joined in and am happy to do so today! :)
Mary, your windows are fantastic. You may remember that stained glass windows have a special place in the lives of the Old Salt and me.
They would be perfect in our town which was founded by German settlers and where over half of the population two hundred years later is still of german extraction.
Love your reds, Mary!
I have a RT up this time!
Come see!!! :)
These are beautiful art to see while eating in that restaurant.
Mary, now that's a brilliant red. Who knew that stained glass predated computer monitors for the most brilliant reds ever!
That's strange to see the German gothic writing in New York, lol ! A "Stammtisch" is a table in a Pub, which is reserved for men groups of all kind, from card players to local politicians. There is a sign standing on the table with the name of the group and nobody else is alowed to sit there.
It's well illustrated on the pictures.
I love German food. Well, heck any food. LOL
Hope your week is treating you well.....
Here's My R T for the week
I'm a big stained glass fan! Cool captures...
Love these shots! The red really stands out, doesn't it? Happy Ruby Tuesday!
Put a Tiger in Your Tank!
Mmm, veal cordon blue, yummie! ( I must be hungry, it's almost noon where I am!) That's a lovely stained glass window!
Campbell Soup Kids say HAPPY RUBY TUESDAY!
Lovely stained glass, great St Patty theme. Happy Ruby Tuesday to you.
Yeah, what's the deal...no potato pancakes on the weekend! So that's why they are wearing RED COATS.
Going to think about taking the Limerick challenge.
Tuesday Blessings ;-)
