Tisha of Crazy Working Mom is the host of Looking at the Sky on Friday.
The deep blue of this sky (the photos were taken the same day) is so beautiful and rare this Winter.
The photos were taken at Woodlawn Cemetery in the Bronx. The lake is called Woodlawn Lake. Mausoleums surround the lake. What a lovely final resting place.
Go on over to Tisha's place to see other participants in LATSOF.

Both pictures are beautiful Mary but the second one is my favorite :)
These are beautiful. I like them both. :)
Great photographs. From the Bronx no less.
Two very gorgeous shots. I love how you edited the top shot. It felt so soft and peaceful.
What a breathtaking blue. I liked that the door was blue as well. Great photos.
I love the shot of the frozen lake with the silhouettes of tree branches, simply lovely! :)
I love your pics! They are gorgeous!
Stunning captures! These are breathtaking (no pun intended)!
Excellent pictures.
That is a beautiful blue and so nicely contrasting with the the whiteness of the snow.

The clean white snow and the pretty blue sky are so perfect together. Shame you haven't seen more of them together. It does indeed look like a very peaceful spot. ~ Calico Contemplations
Blue skies have been rare here this winter too. You must have been quick with your camera to capture these photos!
The Gilchrist-Mills family must have had money!
This is a lovely final resting place.
I like the picture on your masthead best!
What marvelous clear blue skies over your wintry wonderland! It's been raining since last night here in Southern California ... no blue skies in sight but SPRING has arrived in my front yard earlier than ever.
Hugs and blessings,
