To all my friends who are celebrating Rosh Hashanah Friday evening! Happy New Year and all the best to you and your family. I wish you peace and happiness in the new year!
Hi Mary! Popped in to say hello and a bit of "wow, it's a small world"! I 'met' you on Robin's blog (around the island) - she and I were best buds in high school. I was reading my friend Suzie's blog today (up the hill backwards), and saw you over there as well! Suze and I met in our 20's. Weird! How do you know Suzie (or Robin, for that matter)? Sorry about the long comment, but I didn't know how else to contact you to say "how weird!" Thanks for the New Year blessings, right back atcha!
Sharing my greetings as well. Today I'm thinking of my friend bob, whom we lost earlier this year. He would have been joyfully celebrating Rosh Hashanah tonight.

Mary, thanks for the RH wishes. Hoping for a year of health, wealth, peace and fun sharing of photos! Not necessarily in that order.
One of my friends is Jewish. I should have done more research because I didn't know to wish her Happy New Year.
I shall correct that now.
Thank you Mary, here's to a wonderfully happy, healthy and peaceful new year for all of us!
(waves at Miriam, who was involved in nearly all of the unsavory activities I got into in hs that made me who I am today)
Thank you Mary. I am started dinner early today. Busy day company's coming and I need to start the Raisin Challah.
Well said Mary. My son in law is Jewish as are my husband's natural family. I wish them all a very Happy Rosh Hashanah.
Just sent off Rosh Hashana cards and then come here to find the fruits and honey. Lovely blog post.
Shalom
