So true! We used to have a phone booth at the parking lot where I live, and they have taken it down too. One day I looked out the window and saw it was gone. It had probably been gone for a while before I noticed it. I think my mind still projected it's image there, even though it was gone already.
I thought of stopping by here to check on your Yellow..and i found a nice shopt of a yellow verizon telephone.. It's good you were able to take a photo of that kind of phone...it is a good remebrance of the past

I don't think I've ever seen a yellow hand set like that.
Nice to see a public telephone Mary. I sort of miss them. Gas Station were always a good place to find a phone. Not anymore.

When I lived in Germany, ALL the phones and everything connected with the DeutschesBundespost (Post office) was bright yellow! Nice photo!
