The placement of the shadows falling upon the statue makes for a very poignant image. Very moving and very beautiful.
Regarding your question about why I chose sepia for my shadow shot. I actually didn't. That's exactly how it came out because of the weird lighting in the gallery :)

Walking in a cemetary on a winter's day. I used to do this so much long ago. Always reading and wondering the stories behind the headstones.
