Ruby Tuesday

For this Ruby Tuesday I have photos of a place in Florida where we went to lunch called

LE TUB.

They have a thing for toilet seats, toilet bowls and tubs. Ha! And I noticed there was a little bit of RED in every shot I took!

I didn't try the KEY LIME PIE. I didn't buy a T-shirt, I had to use the ATM.

It actually was a great place with excellent hamburgers!

This was the view from where we sat (on benches not toilet seats) on a make-shift balcony:

Don't forget to sign Mr. Linky and leave a comment! Thanks everyone!

Well, good that there weren't toilet shaped cups for ice cream! lol. So many reds...tubs and bowls! :D

We visited a place like this in Key West. They had a tiny little courtyard, with a HUGE mirror against a whole wall, so it made it seem like you were in a large, green space. Cute photos, love the red toilet seat!

What fun shots! I love the "an inexpensive place for people with money" line! Well I'll have to say you found a unique spot for sure. Happy almost Tuesday to you!

Different kind of place... a little disturbing perhaps, but different.

Rub-a-dub dub! That must be some eatery. Glad to read they have good hamburgers.

Now that's an interesting place to dine. What are the restrooms like?

Carletta said...

Patti asks a good question - what were the restrooms like - dining rooms, I mean if the rest was like a bathroom.....
I loved it Mary - good reds and lots of smiles.
The view was worth it I'm sure.

How fun! I had an email that showed a restaurant that DID use commodes to sit on!

Of course they weren't hooked up to be usable though!

Dear teach Mary,
I love people who have some self irony.
Then we can have a good laugh together.
Besides your shots were "hot", with sting and nerve.
You must have had a good time down south.
I also admire your heading. The Lady in Red.
Have a nice Ruby Tuesday.
I's soon half three in the morning, and I am to go hiking in wet snow tomorrow. Seen you when I come home.

I loved this...got to ask, do you remember what the sign under the key lime bathtub said?

Rose said...

I thought that looked like 'Butts' but couldn't think what they would be saying...then I thought maybe it said buttered something or other.

Ralph said...

Isn't this restaurant sending mixed messages about the quality of the food compared to the 'seating' arrangements...

I like the toilet seats! Colourful and pretty innovative! :P
Happy Ruby Tuesday!

Hahaha ! very clever business man who reinvented the roman dining rooms !
In Turkey I visited a roman ruin where the dining room had stone seats with holes and behind a canal with running water. So you fill in your mouth and empty your ... at the same time ! I suppose your place didn't have running water ...

Some people really have a sense of humor. I think the south really brings it out, somehow. The heat, I think. You are so lucky to get down there and bask in that sunny weather. Glad you're having fun.

What a nifty place and WONDERFUL pictures to share. I saw them yesterday when I visited Mellow Yellow but didn't leave a comment then, figuring I'd do it once I posted mine ... then your blog did to me what MINE did yesterday and only your header & sidebar were visible for a while. Fortunately all has returned to normal now and I've entered my link ... finally.
Hugs and blessings,

Ha Teach!
These pictures made me laugh last night when I was down here!
They are all so very neat but I must say though that the tub picture made me sad!
The only thing I regret about our buying a house[besides having to leave so many antiques behind and having to give away hundreds of books and vinyl records],was that we couldn't take that huge claw footed bath tub with us.
I am so big that I can hardly fit into the small one we have now!
Oh what luxury that huge tub was!
I would lie in the hot water for hours just reading a book!
Probably ONE of the books I had to give away!!!
Life is so unfair sometimes, eh?
Happy Ruby Tuesday to you Mary T, our Teach!....Love Terry
