Modernity opposed to Classic style.

Maybe owners can hang up their laundry on the wires : )

I love old buildings! It's funny to me how we can overlook the modern additions...at least I can. Until I read 'Bronx architecture with satellite dishes' all I saw was the old building. I read it, looked again & thought wow. They are there. lol

Very ornate, not quite the image this old movie watcher would associate with the Bronx.
I am almost ceratinly misinformed.

Dam those dishes they need to learn to blend in.

they just don't build buildings with that kind of character anymore.

What a great old building! I often wonder about trying to crop out stuff like that (the dish) but there's something alluring about it.

I love that this photo is in B&W. Lately, I've been thinking about doing some shots in B&W. I'm not sure what, though.

What a lovely building. The iron railings on the balconies have such beautiful patterns. Perfect in B&W.

It took me a minute to see the dish. That's a beautiful building and so well suited for monochrome.

Kewl capture ... great for monochrome. One of these days I plan to experiment with this, but not today. I did participate in Creative Photography this week though.
