Shadow Shot Sunday

Photobucket

Lots of morning shadows and sloppy snow and ice. And a bright red/orange pail.

Go over to Hey Harriet and check out other participants and Erika's collages.

Something about sunshine and snow that makes the shadows so crisp and pretty!

Now this is how I like to see snow...melting!!! Tall shadows...I heard the first Cardinal singing his love song this morning...maybe spring will be upon us sooner than expected.

What a morning scene! But you catches the best shot!

We have melting snow, too! Hard to walk as it's so slippery.

Have a happy w/end!

Wow! So much going on in this shot. The shapes, lines, shadows, colours...it's really lovely. It looks very slippery! People must fall over a lot in the snow. I would!

Certainly looks thoroughly sparkly.

Love the lines, for some reason that is soothing to me.

Very nice composition! That looked like a lot of shoveling.

Dear teach Mary,
I like the way the spring light is winning over the fading snow & ice on your picture. I almost can smell the warmth of the sun.
Splendid for a Sunday.

I like the contrast of the dark, orderly shadows with the white, splotchy snow.

Looks cold to me... but I know how frigid it is a few latitude lines north of you. ;-)

Looks familiar, Mary! I love this shot--when you get past the shadows and ice, it's home sweet home!

Love the fence shadows!
I agree with Sweet Repose - melting is how I like to see snow too.

Nice shadows. I don't know why, but there's something very homey and comforting about this scene. Must be tapping into some childhood memory or something.
