Ruby Tuesday

Welcome to Ruby Tuesday! The Holidays are right around the corner!

I'd like to show you the Holiday Miniature Train Show at the New York Botanical Garden. There's Ellis Island, Yankee Stadium, the Flatiron Building, brownstones in Manhattan and Brooklyn, the Brooklyn Bridge, and so many other buildings and sights of New York City. All the buildings and decorations (except the trains) are made from plant material.

ENJOY!

I hope you enjoyed my Ruby Tuesday slideshow at the New York Botanical Garden.

Please sign Mr. Linky below and leave a comment. And try to visit the other participants. You know they love visitors.

Oh I love miniature villages. They had one here near Toronto but it recently closed down after something like 30 years...so sad.

This one is quite elaborate! Thanks for the tour :)

I'll be back later when Mr Linky is up & running.

And I'm the one who deleted the comment above - I was under the profile for my cat blog! LOL They don't do ruby tuesday! HAHA

Your place looks pretty frosty... but it'll redden your cheeks. Then again, so will skiing naked. (Or so I'm told at least.)

I've got a flashback going this week. Back to when the weather was quite a bit warmer!

Decided to post sans Mr. Linky, because I have to go out for a few hours, and also because I'm rarely this organized and ready.

The trains make for a perfect holiday display. When we were little, we had the Lionel trains setup around the tree. Loved to travel that loop with the classic set, and not plastic, but steel from the 1940s. The locomotive must have weighed about 5 lbs - massive. Nice sisplay!

Yikes, you all are so fast! It’s still Monday over on this coast….

I like the trains Mary! Makes me think of my dad.

Mine is up… and this time I actually did a few ‘on subject” shots of actual holiday stuff.

And then a few red tinged party pics.

Tis the season!

I've missed participating recently but have managed to share holiday 'rubies' this morning as I head up stairs to get ready for my PSE6 class. I'll be visiting later this afternoon or tomorrow depending on how the day goes. We're happy for the rain in So Cal (finally) but it IS wreaking havoc with our traffic.
Hugs and blessings,

I love minatures. Someday, I'd like to make little doll houses with my girls. A train set under the tree, circling, for some reason I've always wanted one of those.

Lovely photos, Mary!

Dear Mary T Sometimes this lap top gets me mad!
I left a comment here Tuesday telling you I would return and some how it got lost in Cyberspace. That has happened so many times!
Anyways, I just want to tell you how fascinated I was with your slide show. It is so nice! I couldn't watch it for too long yesterday because I had a few appointments..
I hope you put another one in!
Have a great week...Love Terry
