On this day the sky had an interesting look. Dark clouds were taking over the sky of blue. The cupola atop the Montefiore Medical Center, Bronx, N.Y. caught my eye and I took this shot from the ground.
On another day I took this shot of the cupola from across the way on the same level as the cupola against a most lovely BLUE sky. It's quite decorative.

Hi Mary, you did it good this week. Your sky is so clear for these pictures, it may be the same one we are having. I took a similar shot at noon today but it didn't make my Skywatch.

I like both shots a lot. Usually cloudy skies are my favorite but I think in this case the cupola against the blue is my favorite but both great.

Isn’t it fascinating how the same sky can look so different from day to day! I played with PSE6 today to ‘alter’ the appearance of a single SKY photo 7 different ways at Sacred Ruminations this week … just because.
