Hello everyone! It's Ruby Tuesday once again. Look what I have for you today:
A series of "ruby-esque" paintings I found in a beautifully decorated condo for sale.
They were hanging next to each other and impressed me very much. And no we didn't buy the condo. We were accompanying my BIL and SIL who were looking.
There were no signatures on the paintings.
I think I'll put the Ruby Tuesday rules on my sidebar for new people...
Remember how people who participate like to have others visit their posts -- So be kind and visit your fellow Ruby Tuesday bloggers. I'll make every effort to visit some of you even though I'm taking a little break to concentrate on my teaching this semester.
I f you are new to Ruby Tuesday say so in your comment and I'll definitely try to visit you.

Well I guess I shouldn't be surprised at how easy it was to top the list this week since the post went up on a holiday. Proving once again that I have no life.
But I found some redness in my recent archives all the same
Hi, Teach
wonderful work, impressed me greatly. Thanks for sharing.
hugs, Denise
Hi Mary! I am joining this week! :D
And I love those paintings! Check out my model here:D
What went through the artist or the owner's life or mind that these were left behind? Interesting, lively paintings that you found, Mary.
Good luck with your new semester. My "baby" starts first grade tomorrow. Who is more anxious, mom or daughter?
Isn't it fun that Ruby has a way of popping up wherever you go. Enjoy your time Maryt!!
Dear Teach,
How do you get time to teach with your successful Ruby Tuesday?
I love the ruby jazz paintings. It simply has to be some soft jazz, perhaps Billie Holiday they're playing.
Hope your students get inspired the way your bloggers do.

Hi guys, thanks for commenting...you know I won't be around to everyone.
Congrats, Mojo, for being first!
But I want to welcome Yen as a new RT participant.
If you comment with your e-mail I'll respond to your e-mail... :)
Hi Mary! Great R.T. photos are you going to get the condo?
Have a good one Loves & hugs :D
The paintings are beautiful, Mary - I'm impressed, too.
Did your BIL and SIL buy the condo?
I most certainly will [visit] although mine won't be up until tomorrow but I'm here because you popped up on my blogroll as having just posted.
I sense I begin to ramble.
Although I have the links, I much prefer the boxy one that you have. Where can I find the boxy one please?
Cheers
Love the artwork. Mine will be posted at 5:00 AM tomorrow.
Love these paintings. Fascinating tones and brush styles! The last one is quite intriguing!
Hi Mary, if you said those paintings are for sale, Mrs. Jim would like them for her music room!
Great post! Happy RRtU
..
Hi everyone. Hi Mary! Hope your Back To School goes smoothly. Make sure you have some time for playtime!

I wonder how many items get left behind when condos are sold!
Hope your first day back isn't too tiring, Teach. Happy Ruby Tuesday!
Hi Teach, may your new college week be as fun as dancing :-)
I love the paintings, and angles you used make the set seem to dance along with the music. Very nice!
I hope I'm not breaking or missing any rules? Please let me know, if so?
Like the old song, after seeing these pictures, I hear the synphony.
I am surprised this artwork didn't make the move, too...
Those paintings look pretty huge to me. I'm sure they will look great if displayed in places with tall ceilings. Nice series of ruby paintings :)
Rulez??? There are rules for Ruby Tuesday??? Guess I’ll need to check those out … but I’ve added my link to Small Reflections because I’ve posted my 2nd Ruby Tuesday there just now … a little early because I’ve got class tomorrow morning, so I won’t be visiting until tomorrow afternoon.
Hugs and blessings,
They are very nice paintings. Were they being offered with the condo?
Um ... I forgot to say I think the paintings you've shared here this week very 'kewl' ... I'm a bit distracted by TENNIS and I'm seriously sleep deprived so please accept my apology for the oversight ;--)
Hugs and blessings,
I really like these paintings. They remind me of a jazz club I used to go to a lot (before the owners decided the rent money was better spent on something else and lost their lease!)
I have a lot of fond memories of the club, which I guess is why the paintings speak to me.
Nice series... like it a lot.
Mine will be up shortly!
Not playing but wanted to comment. I like the paintings. Did your BIL and SIL like the condo? You don't have to answer this question. I know you are busy. Big hug and lotsa lovies. :)
I love love love those paintings!
I am here with Ruby Tuesday and Naked On a Horse.
What a beautiful paintings!
Very cool paintings! I really like the second one.

Happy Tuesday Teach..beautiful paintings for Ruby Tuesday..
nice work teacher Mary! My entry is up. Happy Tuesday!
Teacher Mary, posted my first entry. Happy Tuesday!
My first entry, like this sort of challenge, because this gives a great variation of pictures. When I look around I always can find some red. This time very much 'red' in my pictures of the Provence, South of France.

My post is up Mary and I know you are busy but I included something special for you so if you get a chance this week I hope you can come by.
Wow Mary, those are amazing paintings.
I think I can even hear the music they play!
Mine will be up in a couple of minutes too! See you!
These are very nice paintings, simple but expressive !
What artist wouldn't sign their work? How intriguing!
My first Ruby Tuesday! Thanks for hosting. What great paintings, my new car has satellite radio with some great jazz stations...I'm loving it.
Very interesting art work, Mary... and definitely fits Ruby Tuesday, haha.
Hi Mary!
Wonderful paintings! I think they look nice all together also. They compliment each other very well!

Fantastic paintings!
Thank you for being such a lovely host!
I really like the energy in the one of the bass player. You can almost hear the jazz beat.
Good luck this semester Mary. I wish you a classroom full of interested, and interesting, students.

Yikes! Ruby Tuesday is getting MASSIVE. I'm 79th on the list! Egads!
Interesting paintings. It's always interesting to see what people leave behind.
I love the paintings they have a truly classic look. Hope the school year treats you well dearest.
Oh gak...holiday threw me off and I just now got mine up. :)
It was an empty condo? I'll go back and read more closely.

newbie... and i'll surely be here every tuesday thereafter!
thanks, mary!
Beautiful!
great paintings...
I forgot today was Tuesday!
Bad me
Don't know what's going on today. Added my name to Mr. Linky twice... I thought it was there at #79 and now it is gone. Giving it a third try now. Hmmm.
I love the bass player painting - I have a soft spot for bass players, since I once went out with one.
Those are neat paintings. I'm glad you went along, Mary!
Great series. I like those paintings. Too bad they don't have a signature.
The lighting is very well done and certainly highlights them well.
~~~Blessings~~~
I enjoy looking, actually admiring, at those two paintings. Full of character, Mary.
I was here for your WW, but I think we're on the same boat now - busy with the new semester. Have a great one.
Wow, this meme is really taking off. Way to go!
I keep meaning to play but never seem to get around to it. I did actually post a picture with some red in it today but it's already Thursday.
