Skywatch Friday

Jose De Rivera 1964

I enhanced the sky somewhat and that darkened the sculpture so that you can't see that there's a pedestal. So I've given you another picture (not for the dull-looking sky) but so you can see the sculpture from another direction and see the pedestal.

Those are my husband's sexy legs on the right. Ha!

Please go visit everyone at Skywatch Friday You won't regret it!

Now how are we supposed to look at the sky when you include sexy legs? ;O)

I thought the tree had legs... or looked like "Cousin It!" LOL!

I love the sculpture and what you did with the first photo!
I see reflections in the base of the sculpture. :)

Does sexy legs know you described him that way? ;)

That first one made me think of the NIKE swoosh. Who says marketing doesn't work. That aside, great shots.

well, you can't always get deep blue sky or fabulous cloud formations...
but i like the sharp shapes of the sculpture against the sky.

I like the 'contemporary' with the ancient sky--beautiful. Nice work.
BTW, the photo of the nuns with guns was taken at my school! How'd you get your hands on this? :O)

LOL, I was actually going to ask whose legs those were :D It just looks like someone is lurking in the bushes.

I didn't notice the legs because they weren't shapely and didn't have lovely ankles and sweet feet encased in some peep toes.

I focused on the sculpture and sky instead, which was really cool.

Strange sculpture, but at least a blue sky and not a grey like here !

The statue looks as if it is a giant sickle, just about to top that tree.
