Jose De Rivera 1964
I enhanced the sky somewhat and that darkened the sculpture so that you can't see that there's a pedestal. So I've given you another picture (not for the dull-looking sky) but so you can see the sculpture from another direction and see the pedestal.
Those are my husband's sexy legs on the right. Ha!

Now how are we supposed to look at the sky when you include sexy legs? ;O)
I thought the tree had legs... or looked like "Cousin It!" LOL!
Is it Friday yet?
Sculptures with sky.. nice catch this week :)
Today I'm imagining a fishing hook with that sculpture somehow :P
Happy Weekend Mary {HUGS}
Great sculpture in the sky! Nice legs.
Are those sexy legs for hire? What an ad. for them! Great shot.
Cool sky watch pic!!

Very interesting sculpture.
And yes,I like the legs too.
I love the sculpture and what you did with the first photo!
I see reflections in the base of the sculpture. :)
Does sexy legs know you described him that way? ;)
I have to agree with Babs, tee hee. Once I saw the legs I could see nothing else. :-))))
Great lines in the art and legs. :)
Very dramatic shot of those lovely curves. Oh, and the sculpture is nice too...
Cool sculpture and I agree with Lois that it looks like "Cousin It" or is it Itt?
Great photos, the legs added a lot!
Awesome photos!
That first one made me think of the NIKE swoosh. Who says marketing doesn't work. That aside, great shots.
I like the surreal effect that you gave the statue! Nice Sky Watch.
wow i had to take a double look to see what that thing was, no not your hubby's legs which do look good.LOL
Anyway nice sky watch post
Really like these shots - legs and all.
Fascinating pics! Love the shape of that sculpture! Like a crescent moon in a swing shape!
That caught me out... not the legs, the 'floating' sickle.
teachers like list don't they i value your opinion, go to my putz blog and tell me what you think
I loved it without the pedistal as it seemed to be floating! Love them sexy legs!!
Nice one in here...
Nicely done...including the legs...LOL
That is pure magic, Mary! Thanks.
well, you can't always get deep blue sky or fabulous cloud formations...
but i like the sharp shapes of the sculpture against the sky.
Nice legs
I like the 'contemporary' with the ancient sky--beautiful. Nice work.
BTW, the photo of the nuns with guns was taken at my school! How'd you get your hands on this? :O)
LOL, I was actually going to ask whose legs those were :D It just looks like someone is lurking in the bushes.
Tink *~*~*
I didn't notice the legs because they weren't shapely and didn't have lovely ankles and sweet feet encased in some peep toes.
I focused on the sculpture and sky instead, which was really cool.
I really like this sculpture. Thanks for showing more of it. I enjoy your sense of humor as well :)
SkyWatch Friday
Strange sculpture, but at least a blue sky and not a grey like here !
The statue looks as if it is a giant sickle, just about to top that tree.
Mary: What a great shot of an unusual shape. Thanks for your comments on the main page.
