Cool shot. This brings back memories. I was born in the Bronx and the Whitestone Bridge is part of the few childhood memories I have. I always liked it. It even looks good in red.
I don't participate in creative photography but I wanted you to know that I love that.
Been across that bridge a kazillion times going to and from the Bronx to visit relatives...then they built the Throgs Neck and you had a choice
I appear to be following Bond today :)Don't tell him I think the Whitestone is a beautiful bridge, I love the angle of this and the softness of the spotlight.
I like the perspective!
Cool Teach. Very cool. Big hug and lotsa lovies. :)
I like the style of the Whitestone, and like crossing it...that is until I reach the Kew Gardens mess!A lot of people thing Robert Moses had too much power. But each of the three East River crossings built under him were necessary...and with a great functional beauty as well. Lived in Bayside when little and enjoyed standing near the huge south tower of the Throgs Neck at Fort Totten...
You made it look like an Artsy Patriotic Bridge, Mary! Very cool!
Hey Mary! What a beautiful photo for your Creative Photography Entry. I love the red and the effects you used. I would like to see NYC some day. I need to put that on my "to do" list! ;-)Thanks for stopping by!Hugs,Kimmie
I think you did an awesome job. I really enjoy visiting you site. This is the first time entering Creative Photo for me.
That is just wonderful, Mary!
Beautiful transitions filter Mary! That bridge looks like it is glowing.
3 steps in editing creating this good photo. The technics of the filters and lightings are nicely used here.
Nice effect! I like the Whitestone - 30 some years ago, I crossed it a number of time on my trips to Connecticut via LaGuardia.
wow!this is a nice perspective the teach.
It's FUN! I really prefer my photo's natural ... but every now and then it is fun to play with them! I was doing a little of that this evening myself... I might put a few up one day.
Definitely like it Mary!
Very surreal! It looks like something from a dream landscape. A lovely, bright and happy sort of dream.
Nice one it looks like a gate to royal home.
