Ruby (Red) Tuesday

Today is GERANIUM day here on Ruby Tuesday. I got the photos below by tip-toeing across the street and taking shots of my neighbor's beautiful geraniums. She takes such care with her flowers, as you can see.

I went around to her side door to get the photo above...

This is a shot at my local florist.

Hi Maryt,
I have one for this week. I love your red geraniums and the fact that you tiptoed to your neighbors to steal these shots...

Mary, I'm trying to imagine how you look like impersonating Pink Panther tip toeing around your neighbors yard :P

She really does seem to have really nice green thumbs!

my contention is that if you can't eat it don't grow it and with all our tomato fiascos i hope my tomatoes make it through one more freezing spell that is coming tomorrow, look up the weather for utah and see if it doesn't reach about 35 which is my danger point for all my tomatoes

Can't go wrong with flowers. Those are pretty impressive geraniums. Not sure if I'm going to participate this week or not. Might wait until next week when Project Blue is behind me.

Love red geraniums! In Virginia I used to be able to grow them until Christmas.
I didn't have a red today - will search for some for next week - like Raven - when I can get the color blue out of my system!

I used a Geranium this week, too. I am not sure if I will play every week since red is so hard for me to capture.

geraniums. One of my favorite childhood memories involves gernaiums.

Mom and Dad were gin martini drinkers. And Mom used an old glass gallon gin bottle (filled with water, of course) to water her geraniums.

She used to get stares from folks driving by the house when she watered her plants...LOL!

Very encouraging photos! At least I know somewhere the sun shines and red flowers grow.
