Never been there and not sure if I will ever get there either. I spent the day fishing with the family, and now Allen is grilling some chicken to go with a nice salad.
Thanks for the photos. Never made it to Coney Island on my visits to New York because none of my friends I was visiting would go there! So it's nice to get an idea of how it looks from you... :)
Thank you Maryt, for the pictures, the muriel is new for this year? I like going to Coney Island a lot. We didn't have time this time for going there. We did eat at the 'Burger Joint' eating place. The food was not real good, Nathan's hot dogs aren't either for my money!
I did have a hot dog sausage from a vendor wagon, also a knish. Both were excellent. ..
I love these shots, Mary! I was there last spring with my husband's cousin, and how I wanted to pass through those gates and actually be in that place. Out and about there is some great graffiti in that area. Many murals and memorials.

Oooh - I could go for one of those Hot Dogs right now -- I saw them on the Food Network the other night! And I love aquariums! I need to come visit and go to that one with you! :)

Isn't the aquarium wonderful. Have you gone to the baseball stadium? It's like a small town in the middle of NY.

Silly as this sounds, I didn't realize Coney Island was still open! I guess I don't get our much!
