My heart goes out to Barack Obama today. The man that he stood up for and whom he has know for 20 years has turned on him. Rev. Wright has spoken out in a mean and malicious way that has embarrassed Barack and caused him to renounce the man.Newt Gingrich who spoke to Alan Coombs last night on Air America radio described Obama's demeanor as he addressed an audience in North Carolina. Gingrich said you could tell how much it pained Obama to have to renounce the man that meant so much to him.

Love overdue in my view. Wright used Obama for his own purposes without ever thinking how it would affect one of his flock. Shame on him. Have a great day Teach.

Mary it just keeps getting sillier in this silliest of seasons.
At some point the actual real issues will be addressed.

Hi Mary,
I agree with you completely. My thoughts are totally with Obama.
People easily sit back and because they don't care for Wright, criticize Obama for caring for this man.
We all have people in our lives that others are not particularly fond of. But a lot of times each of us can find the God and goodness in that person because we've taken the time to open our hearts and see.
I believe that this last rant of Wright's must be his own, and Obama has done the right thing. He has my prayers.
