Okay... I first thought about the good old sock monster... but... did anybody fall out of the window while hanging out the socks??? They are soooooo far away from the window...
And for those not familiar with this sort of set up - yes, there is a pulley involved. It's actually a neat way too hang clothes out to dry. They do the moving, you just do the hanging.
Hmm – it seems I missed out on the 1st photo, but these don’t seem to be in pairs. In addition, the orange and stripped socks seem out of place entirely ... but I've not hung laundry like this for YEARS (thankfully). Hugs and blessings,

Yes, everybody, there are socks missing! My MIL would NEVER hang out a sock without its matching partner. She is one person who NEVER lost socks in the dryer. When I moved to where I live now I found that NO ONE hung out clothes let alone socks. Whew! We all used dryers and nobody was ever the wiser whether we lost socks or not. LOL!
And yes I did change my WW picture because I liked this one better. I'll use the other another time. Okay?

I definitely noticed the two things the other readers commented on that they were hung very far from the window and they didn't look like mates.

Now I know where all my other socks have gone.
The other socks fell off the clothes line, therefore the gap. hehe.... This family has too many kids!
