That gesture is so beautiful and so warm. Just look at the baby. It seems as if she can understand.

I love it when people find a way to use their positions for good. It's something even the least famous of us can do, but not enough of us think we can.

These are nostalgic photos. Remind me of my own stay in Nigeria for some seven years! Great pictures.

That's nice what David Beckham is doing there, he has enough money for that too, but look at these tatoos that's awful ! I would cut off his arm and replace it with a clean one if I were Victoria !

I wonder how they like his tattoos? In any case, he sure is a nice looking specimen. ;-}

It's great that somebody famous like Beckham takes time to do such a great thing. Especially since it's been proven that the guy can't play soccer! :-)

Nice post, and thanks for dropping by.

It's good to see a high profile star giving something back. It may be a small gesture on his part but his high profile should bring greater attention to the people of Sierra Leone who have suffered terribly in recent years

Personally, I think the man is over-rated, but when someone uses their celebrity for GOOD then I shouldn't complain.

Come guess what's on the microscope slide @ my WW: It’s A Blog Eat Blog World

Hi Teach -- This is heart-warming to see what David Beckham can do in his spare time.
I'm not much into soccer and so had a mini-lesson today, as I wasn't familiar with him either.
But Mrs. Jim knew David Beckman. I'm with Gattina in that tattoos the athletes bear has gotten out of hand.

Happy WW, mine is the same as yesterday, except I added a questionable pictorial denouement.
..

denouement.

I am thinking of doing this WW thing myself...I must say I am not a fan of Beckham, could be his wife that ruins it for me, but I like to see these things.
