Eight Random Things Meme

~EIGHT RANDOM THINGS ABOUT ME~

My friend Bobbie of The Right Blue tagged me for the Eight Random Things meme:

I'm supposed to tell eight random things about myself -- presumably things that most people might not know about me.

Here it goes:

1) I'm left-handed. So is my brother. Both our parents were right-handed. Go figure!

2) I write poetry. I have a book published called "Pink Geishas and Other Poems."

3) I'm very bad at telling right from left. If you catch me before I can think about it I more than likely will point in the wrong direction. I don't have trouble in a car. I never make a mistake. I can't explain it.

4) I don't pay attention to prices at the supermarket. If you asked me what I paid for a quart of milk I don't know...

5) I used to be able to roller skate. But I can't today because of those ultra-slippery plastic wheels. The picture below is the kind of roller skate I used to use.

6) I was a virgin when I got married. I am a virgin still. ;)

7) I can intelligently follow a football game when tied to a chair in front of the TV.

8) I can pass for a woman in her 40s if I wear a lot of make-up.
