The thumb above is a FLEXIBLE thumb. It's my husband's thumb.
The thumb below is not. That's my thumb. Do you see the bend in the thumb above that's not there in the thumb below?
All my life I've been kidded about my "Dumb thumbs" given that name by my brother. My thumb, as you can see, is very straight. Most people's thumbs are curved like my husband's.

My hubby has a very crooked thumb. It's almost shaped like a 'L'. My thumb has a slight curve. Yours is the first straight thumb that I have seen. Maybe I didn't take notice all this time..... hehe.....

My thumb is not straight. My fingers are all very flexible. They are long and skinny. My sister used to tease me that I have fingers like a witch. *LOL*

Both of my humans have very straight thumbs. Neither of them has a thumb that curves or bends back.

i have a straight thumb, i do not know what it means. no one i know has a straight thumb. no one in my family has a straight thumb either, having a straight thumb mean anything?
