It's the Green Tree...

A very nice blogger I came across was giving suggestions for how to buy a fake Christmas tree after taking hers out of storage and finding it was in pretty bad shape. It was crumpled and had turned brown.

One of her suggestions was "Always buy a green tree." If you think about it those are pretty good words to live by.

Good thought! In the past, we have bought white. We take quite a ribbing from everyone and anyone, but it shows off the ornaments quite well!

Green is the new green for us, though! This is good advice!

God bless.

Sandy, don't let anyone "rib" you about a white tree...it can be beautiful when lighted and decorated. When I said "Always buy a green tree" I meant "don't fool with Mother Nature." Certain things are meant to be the way they are.

I didn't think about "living green" today which of course means conservation and recycling...but that's a good idea too.

Thanks for commenting Sandy.

White trees can look very nice, especially trimmed with blue tinsel and baubles.

Hope you don't mind, Teach - I just tagged you over at Siani's Pot-Pourri. Don't feel obliged to do the meme, though, if you don't want to. Happy Sunday!
