Wednesday morning, India launched a satellite that makes clear its intentions to join what is emerging as a second space race. (Christian Science Monitor)

Congratulations, India, good work. I think we, the U.S., should get back into space exploration. This just gives us another impetus.

well-off Parisians have taken up residence alongside the homeless in a bid to raise awareness of their plight. (Christian Science Monitor)

Kudos, Parisians. Who doesn't like the French? :)

"Encounter Point," an Israeli documentary, gives those affected by the Israeli-Palestinian conflict a chance to see people on both sides talking and listening. (Christian Science Monitor)
