Shadow Shot Sunday

Benches all covered with snow at Crocheron Park, Queens, N.Y. Love the sharp shadows!  Cold day, bright sun!

Lovely, snowy shadow shot, Mary! As tired as I am of the cold, these kinds of shadows are always delightful! Hope your weekend is going well! Enjoy!

It DOES look cold. The shadow is indeed sharp. Nicely done!

It looks to be a cold day alongside Little Neck Bay. Cold, but quite lovely in shadow and shape. There is no doubt that snow is a great canvas for shadowy art - that you captured well!

It's so cold the shadows are blue! Beautifully captured, Mary.

Now Mary, you know me...the snow looks too darned cold for me! Brrrr. But the sunshine? I'll take that any day. We haven't had much of the sun shining these past few weeks either. I need it. LOLOLOL

Hey, Mary! Thank you for the birthday wishes. It's true that my birthday is tomorrow but I lied about my age because I don't trust Facebook and I fear identity theft. My age is is very close to yours. :)

IF SHADOWS COULD TALK

If shadows could talk,
Just what would they say?
If you listen close,
You’ll hear them, you may.
Shadows do chatter
And gossip and talk
In the store windows,
Along the sidewalk,
Over the mountains,
On prairie and plain,
Begging for sunshine
And not days of rain;
Emboldened by light,
The stark shadows say:
“We’re out for a lark,
Please join us at play!”
