The red in her hair looks festive. I like it (although I would likely not dye my hair red).

We have spring here in Finland and I take back my camera. ;-)

One of my nieces has been doing bright orange chunks for several years now. I keep waiting for her to "outgrow" it but so far, nada!

Beautiful portrait! Well done Mary!

The portrait captures a very contemplative mood! And the hint of red in the hair seems to create a deep glow there! Lovely!

I'm a bit past-it for hair streaking but it must be fun to experiment!

A subtle ruby creates a sort of aura over her. Her mood appears evocative, but of what I do not know. This is a nice profile here...

Lovely hair on a gorgeous woman.

Nice portrait.

Like Marcia said I didn't used to like chunks of color in peoples' hair it but now it seems many folks are doing it and it is rather cute.

P.S. Love the red poppies and your new blog look!

Your subject this week is quite striking, Mary.
My pic is from my UK holiday ~ three red phone booths.
Hope you & your family had a lovely Easter.
Cheers,
Mo

Now.... a tinge of red in my hair would look cool! I don't want to look like a fiery Dragonball character with a head of red hair! :P

Very creative, I wish I were just a "few" (several?) years younger ;). I would try some of those bright red, or pink, highlights in my hair :)

Great field of poppies for your header! I associate it with Flanders, don't know why since there are no headstones. For me, that is Ruby Tuesday!
