Ruby Tuesday

This is the outside mural from P.S. 193 in Whitestone, Queens (an elementary school). It depicts all the things the kids are studying.

I post it here for our Ruby Tuesday meme.

I took these shots in the late afternoon with the shadows playing at the right. But there was plenty of RED (I love the RED fence in the bottom picture) to photograph!

Happy Ruby Tuesday!

Please go visit other participants and, of course, sign Mr. Linky and leave a comment. Thanks a lot!

I really like it that kids paint murals on boring walls outside their schools. This is a very nice one!

here's certainly red but there's a rainbow too!

So fanciful, I love the little turtle and of course the red fence. Nice find!

Nice artwork, thanks for sharing:)

The shadows give a "being on the Moon" idea in the scene. Lovely place. It is always nice when they give an extra touch to a space. Very bright and inspiring! My mom /Nadine, Bulgaria/ has some reds on street facades too this week.

These are gorgeous murals. I really like their impressive size from your photos and how the fences frame them--so much to see. Thanks, Mary!

I love this bright colorful mural, you can't help but smile walking by, and what an encouragement to learning too.

Mojo sent me! And am I glad he did. These are wonderful.

Those murals are nice! Are you sure the kids did them? Well, you really didn't say they did.

And I'm not too witchy but am in the spirit just a little. My characters probably are more Fall than Halloween.

Happy Ruby Tuesday!

School murals are wonderful, but I agree that the RED fence is a key element in its wonderfulness. Come see the reddest Japanese maples I have ever seen.
