Ruby Tuesday

Love is that condition in which the happiness of another person is essential to your own.
--Robert A. Heinlein

Got a lot of RED photos when I was down in Florida. I was on the lookout for shadow shots, sky pix and Ruby Tuesday shots.

As you can see I created a new header with a photo of a big RED heart for Valentine's Day. Valentine's Day is a very special holiday and special for our meme. After all RED is the color for both!

Here are two photos I took in my travels in Hollywood, FL:

Photobucket

Photobucket

Remember last week I suggested taking photos of your home office if there is some RED in there? Well, do so if you want to, otherwise post anything you want.

OR

Start posting big ol' RED hearts, all kinds, just as long as they're RED!

So, please don't forget to comment and to sign Mr. Linky.

Holy smokes, I'm first!

Happy RT everyone. I love both of your photos Mary, the flowers are so wonderfully tropical, I feel I can escape to the sun just by looking at them, and the shot of the brewery poster is both great fun and beautifully composed.

I like your new header!

Forgot about the office photo. OOPS! I'll post something Valentiney next week. ;-)

My Ruby Tuesday post is at my alternate blog - More of Me

heh. My first thought was "Who is da babe?" The St. Pauli Girl got nothing on this girl!

I don't really have a "home office", and the cube at my day job is just too incredibly boring (not to mention colorless... though I do have an
"Easy Button" that's red... Guess I could shoot that).

And Valentine's Day? I suppose if I had a Valentine I might do something along that line... so I guess what I posted sort of fits. If I had a Valentine, I'd want to take her to my favorite place for dinner, right?

Right?

The flowers are romantic, as they usually are. But the poster has an almost dreamy quality to it. Not quite romantic, but nice. Happy RT!

Bonsoir Mary,
I love the header and the quotation particularly. That's exactly what I think. A touch of fantasy, that's what is needed in love .
I like your Florida reminder. Good choice, especially for the flowers. That way, they won't wither.
Well, I'm afraid once else, I choose the free subject. My home desk is too messy, and we rarely celebrate Valentine day here. We celebrate it every day ... Just kidding. Maybe next week I'll find something about it.

Hello, teach Mary,
wonderful pictures,- as always.
Most inspiring.
I fell for the picture of the brewery girl from 1907.
Woman can sell anything, or what?

I'll try for Valentine's Day next week but I've been coming up short of anything that isn't overly commercialized. Oh, I have an idea!! :D

Red hearts? Oh, I have a good idea for next week.

I must have missed the office photo suggestion, though I was on the way to visit an office when I found some good red subject matter.

Love that old-fashioned girl staring out at us.

Mary, I love the re-deco job! I had my post already put together for today - I'll have to be on the lookout for red hearts for next week. Hope you enjoyed your time in Florida!

Oh Teach Mary,
Little did I realize that when I was making my Ruby Red post that I would open up your blog to see the beautiful ruby red heart and a love verse in it.
It is so mice!
Mary T I love the fresh looking red flowers here and the picture of that old fashioned girl!
Hope your week holds only the best for you and you know, I do believe that you packed some of that sunshine in Florida and brought it back with you.
Some of it has beamed over the border to Welland.
We had sunshine all day yesterday and Ruby Tuesday has been, even though cloudy..WARM!
THANK YOU!!....Love Terry
