Dear Teach Mary T I have always loved black and white pictures. Mom and Dad Golden's browny camera, I think that was all I took! The colour ones from back then used to fade. I agree with Carver. I really like the angle of this!. Those trees with the fancy delicate leaves are nice too! Love Terry
Mary T, is that graffiti on the nice old fire box? Too bad someone wouldn't clean it off! I mean that box has a lot of history and character behind it. It deserves respect!
Could be an OddShot also in mono... it's a tilted world. Everything tilted here this morning. I find the Linkys have all gone so I am somewhat at a loss. Have to think about this.
Yes guys, we have a lot of fireboxes like this in Queens, NY. Yes it is a shame this kind of graffiti is all over it. I'm generally in favor of good, artistic graffiti! Thanks one and all for commenting!

I didn't realize what it was at first. The mono effect makes it look like part of an old statue.
I'm with Dianne, I wasn't at all sure what it was at first and thought that maybe it was part of a monument in a cemetery!
