That is a really effective statement. You can't help but think of the suffering of the whales when you view this.

It's a striking image with a wonderful message. The tragic killing of such beautiful marine creatures is obscene. Japan must stop or we could loose one of the world's greatest creatures.

This is really unpopular here in Australia. Some of the whales the Japanese want to whale are born down the road from Adelaide.

While diving one day off the northern California coast we saw a mother and calf Humpback whale swimming less than a couple hundred feet from the Zodiac we were in.

We cut the outboard and just sat there in awe as they went by.

One of my best memories on the coast.
