Quote for Living

Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.
Ralph Waldo Emerson, (attributed) US essayist & poet (1803 - 1882)

Emerson is one of my all time favorite wise philosophers. I wish more children were dragged kicking and screaming to read the essays in school. They would be grateful later and read him over and over for pleasure and wisdom on how to conduct their lives.

Great Quote, Mary.
It's true, we spend so much time thinking about what might have been, but what IS is the important thing!
