Just got home from the pool today. The guy on the radio said the temperature reached 102 degrees. While the water in the pool was quite pleasant, the pool deck was hot as Hades. Warnings on the radio said "Don't think because you're near a pool that you'll be all right. You have to keep drinking water."
We hit a record today with that 102. Phew!

Oh UGH!
ACK!!! You poor people. I can't imagine. As you say, drink plenty of water :) Hope it subsides soon :)
Hi Mary. I used to live in heat like that; sometimes it would go on for days and days, so I really feel for you. Hope you get a break soon.
That's toasty alright, I hope you've got a/c at home! The announcer's right too - if you don't have to use the bathroom you're not drinking enough.

The Queen is visiting NY, and I was watching that it is sweltering, and the commentator even joked that she needs a swimming togs.
I'm enjoying my morning coffee and visiting blogs before our sun heats us up to 30 degrees celsius and humid
here in Atlantic Canada.
Tomorrow, we start our family reunion with about 60 people coming; I so wish it wasn't this hot. Here I've been wishing all along that it wouldn't rain, but this is almost as bad!
Whoa, that's mighty toasty!! It's finally gettin' hot out here but that's waaayyyyy too hot for me!
