Ruby Tuesday

For today's Ruby Tuesday we have a photo that announces Spring! My little ornamental pear tree is about to burst forth.

I frequently tramped eight or ten miles through the deepest snow
to keep an appointment with a beech-tree,
or a yellow birch, or an old acquaintance among the pines.
~ Henry David Thoreau, 1817 - 1862

The littlest natural ruby in March allows our thoughts to be directed to the Spring to occur, with presumably (or rather hopefully) warmer days. Nice capture!

Love that photo. Rich colors and depth, interesting to view. Happy to see spring has arrived.

"ornamental pear tree" - there's one of those on our block; I've been looking for the buds to open. Not as open as yours yet.

Nice shot. I hadn't realized that spring was the theme, but luckily I posted spring flowers, too, wild flowers on a rock.

Great symbol of spring. Wanna see it grow. Haven't seen a real one yet.
You may want to take a tour to the Ayutthaya Ruins if you have time.

I love the miniature complexity of Spring buds. We're not quite there yet, but soon I'll be able to enjoy such miracles here in The Berkshires!

Spring is bursting upon you and summer has left us, but I'm still waiting for Autumn to show her colorful face. Hope you take photos of the beautiful blossoms those new sprouts are going to produce.

Those little Japanese dolls came from a very cheap shop close to where I live, paying a high price for things isn't always necessary. Thank you for the compliment on my header photo too. :))
