My thoughts are with you in this fierce SNOWSTORM! MSNBC is keeping me abreast of what's happening. Feel free to leave a comment to let us know how you're doing...

Oh yes we are in it. Still coming down, just measured 28 inch near Baltimore, Our town is right in the middle of it. Getting great photos to post. Working on time-lapse. Now need to dig out the Hot tub house. We will need that later today for the aches and pains, lol.

And how about NYC? Are you out of that debauchery by the Global Warming? Take care.

Hi, Mary
Thanks for asking about all of us. I am in central Maryland and we got around 20 inches. Right now we are hoping the power stays on. A lot of trees are falling and taking out the power lines. The snow has stopped and the sun has come out, it looks beautiful.

From springtime in Ireland, I hope you're all doing ok, and that your power stays on.
It does look beaautiful.

Love the goose. Oh and global warming means "extreme" weather events not just heat. This latest is just another example.

Beautiful wintry view ... like you, my thoughts are with those on the East Coast dealing with snow and also with those here in So Cal coping with mudslides and flooding. Crazy weather in our world!
Hugs and blessings,

After two days of nearly-constant shoveling, we (senior citizens) are exhausted and ache all over. We still need to do our long driveway, but it will have to wait until another day.

I sent this email message to my local TV weather department:

"On your Friday evening report, your new million-watt weather radar was mentioned a zillion times, as if it were the holy grail of meteorology. We were told to expect 4 to 8 inches of snow north of the city [Pittsburgh] within 24 hours. My zero-watt yardstick showed 23 inches of snow in my yard on Saturday afternoon. Perhaps you wasted your money."

Mary, we are doing great! Looking forward to sledding tomorrow morning. And my eldest was a great help with shoveling - tomorrow he'll help his grandfather's car.

Only 12" in Highland Park - we heard Philly had record snow (our house guests are from Philly).

Love SnoopyTheGoon's comment. Ha.
