Tracy over at Hey Harriet has been sponsoring Shadow Shot Sunday for a long time now. She even creates galleries of photos each week from that week's posts. Thanks, Tracy, for doing such a good job and making all of us SSS posters very happy!
Here's my post from maybe a month and a half back. It's Kissena Park in Queens New York. I saw the shadows AFTER I took the shot. That happens to me occasionally.

That's awesome...I actually had to look at it twice; the first time I thought they were stripes painted on the road!
oh, p.s. Mary, I totally love that you are counting down to spring LOL
Nice, Mary. Very, very nice.
I know shadows are supposed to echo the object but it's always satisfying when they do it so artistically!
Simple and beautiful :)
Ohhhh! I love you shadow shot, Mary! Thom is right, simple and beautiful! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Great shot. It does look as if the shadows are telling to to "Stay In Your Lane"
Great shot Mary!
Must be a great place for a walk.
Huh, that muffin looked like a real mouthful to me and the chocolate cream on top of it was screaming for attention!
isn't it fun how that works out Mary. very lovely shot.

The shadows are wonderfully gentle arcs on the path. A lovely park, I cannot remember as we moved away from the borough of Queens when I was only eight. The look of nature in the populous NYC is a wonderful sight
Lovely shadow shot! What a wonderful surprise that must have been.
Truly a wonderful shot!
:-)
So simple and so very nice !!
You captured some neat lines of shadows on the roadway.
That's cool that you didn't notice them until after you had taken the photo. I love when that happens!
Great shot! I love that meme :)
