Shadow Shot Sunday

Tracy hosts Shadow Shot Sunday at her blog Hey Harriet.

I thought I'd post some summer shadows today. I'm tired of looking at snow and overcast skies. These shadows showed up in downtown NYC this past summer.

That is one cool fountain! I hope you get some brilliant sunshine on that snow before too long.

Great shots. I am sad that our snow melted today as it has been raining all day. It was so wonderful to have a white Christmas.

Great picture, Mary.
"The shimmering, sparkling fountain speaks
'Come through a shaded arch
and shelter awhile
from the baking sun'".

Oh I wish! Sun OR snow would be welcome here!

I just love that dappled shade. Nice change from the snow and ice I can see out the back window.

Ah yez ... good to have archives when the ground is covered with snow. Beautiful sunny shots with nifty shadows. This weekend I'm sharing a mosaic of shadowy photos that I took in Hemet, CA on Christmas Eve. Happy Shadow Shot Sunday!
