Hi, my friends, it's Ruby Tuesday again! Here are a couple of photos I took this week.
Seagate
Gloria Pelkey
I've had this watercolor in my bathroom for many years and it's only recently that I realized it was a picture of a lighthouse. Do you see the light structure on the top of the house? I was surprised - you know how I feel about lighthouses... :)
I passed this tree today. I think it's a pin oak. It's almost bare now... :(
*Watch for my announcement on Thursday about a new Ruby Tuesday Giveaway in celebration of Thanksgiving. :)

Nice lighthouse. I can picture such a residence sitting high above the rocks on a sandy dune - the perfect location.
The tree looks almost like a painting, and is a beautiful red. Nice capture!
The lighthouse watercolor is just so beautiful, i love it!
A lovely lighhouse watercolor!
I can just imagine that by the ocean - got me daydreaming Mary!
I wish for a house with a tower to store my books in and sit by the window just looking whether it is on sea or land.
Your lighthouse is one to die for.
So beautiful!
The trees in my garden are all naked except for the red berries hanging on a "Swede Apple" tree.
The autumn may be beautiful, but oh, so elusive.

The lighthouse is a stunner! And the oak is such a brilliant red. Very nice, Mary!
Hi, I didn't know it was a lighthouse until I read it. The red tree is gorgeous. I have yet to see a tree with red leaves in my area, but I'm on the lookout. :)
HI Mary ~ can't believe it's time for Ruby Tuesday again. Tempus fugit.
I like this lighthouse. Must look nice on the wall in your powder room.
Lovely red pin oak foliage. The road next to our street is Pin Oak Road. I guess there must have been a lot of those trees there at one time.
Wow Gorgeous both if those sights are foreign here.
it could be a liquidamber [belongs to the acer family]..either way it's stunning in it's autumnal hues :))
Oops, sorry about linking twice.
Love the lighthouse.
I believe that tree is a type of ornamental pear, either Bradford or Cleveland. A young Pin Oak will have a more pyramidal shape to it.
Beautiful colors. Have a great Ruby Tuesday.
I like the red lighthouse. It looks very stunning!
what a lovely watercolor. I just love it.
The tree looks so beautiful.it makes me miss our Autumn season. :)
I love your print, and your tree. The colors in the leaves come and go so quickly. I miss them. I also anticipate that they will soon be white!
Hi Mary,
I'm in Washington now instead of Southern California enjoying some real weather and pretty color. Love the leaves on that tree. Happy Ruby to you!
So pretty! Our trees are starting to look a little bald around here.
the watercolor is lovely
and the tree is beautiful
Love the hidden lighthouse. Isn't it funny the way that happens? The tree is gorgeous but I don't think it's a pin oak. Those leaves look like oak leaves, but instead of the curved, mitten look they are points instead. But whatever it is, it's such a pretty RED.
What a beautiful red house! The photo is fantastic..
I know you love the lighthouses and that painting is a great find, even in your home. Happy Ruby Tuesday Auntie M :-)
That is beautiful!
My Ruby Tuesday
Lovely lighthouse in watercolor and a really vibrant looking red tree. Both perfect for RT :)
Wow ... that's SOME lighthouse and a BEAUTIFUL Fall view of the tree ;-)
Hugs and blessings,
Love the lighthouse.
I miss the autumn already!
Beautiful reds.
There is no tree in the Philippines that has leaves with that color.. I just can enjoy in a picture. Daghang Salamat diha
aw mary t..i knew that this was a light house!..i could hardly break away from looking at it, it is just so splendid!
and you have had it for years..what a treasure!
so so nice!
and that tree here really looks like a cherry tree in blossom!
quite a find for you in november!!
happy ruby tuesday...love terry
That's a watercolor? I thought it was for real....was just wishing I could live there, but I guess I don't really want to live in your bathroom - no offense. Both are wonderful pictures and subjects. B : )
The watercolor is delightful. You have a thing for lighthouses; I have a thing for watercolors of beach and seascapes!
And the red foliage of the tree is wonderful - so short a time that the trees are vibrant.
Two of my favorite things - lighthouses and fall leaves. These are both great shots!
What an amazing picture Mary. I love it. Love lighthouses too.
Beautiful tree.
Happy RT.
B.
Magical oak tree, love it.
I love the tree. Beautiful. I love seeing all the trees change colors.
That's a pretty cute lighthouse there, and I love the tree! It looks aflame. :)
Happy RT!
My RT entry is here.
I love the picture of the red tree!
beautiful lighthouse! I wan't to live in there....and the oak tree, so gorgeous! wish we have that here. :-)
my entry's up. Happy RT!
Red trees. Red car. Red flowers. Brick red wall. Red, Red, everywhere.
Like the lighthouse too, of course, but all the unexpected reds just glamoring for attention really keep my attention on the second photo.
I love the lighthouse - it looks so much more doable than those towers on islands. I could dig living in that big red house!
Ohh, that red tree is fantastic!!!
ruby red street decorations
just posted my very first ever Ruby Tuesday ...
Both are great ruby red shots. That tree is stunning.
I'm a lighthouse lover, too. That's a nice one. And I love the red tree. I think we had more yellow and less red in our area this year.
What a beautiful watercolor. I wouldn't have noticed that it was a lighthouse either if you hadn't pointed it out. The color of that tree is stunning. There's really nothing like fall in the northeast, is there?
This is my first Ruby Tuesday.
A Lighthouse? Cool! Pretty red colour. My red is a very intense red that still does not take up the entire picture-area. There's quite a lot of yellow in my image.
Happy Tuesday!
Anna
Cool article as for me. It would be great to read a bit more about that theme.
By the way check the design I've made myself Russian escorts
I love lighthouses also. I have never seen one quite like that before. I wonder where she got her inspiration.
Love your watercolor!!
My entry is last but not least, hopefully.
Hi Mary,
I am playing Ruby Tuesday this week. I think your tree is actually a Swamp Maple. Pin Oak has a distinctly pyramidal shape, especially when young. No matter it is still a beautiful tree.
You didn't know this was a lighthouse? That's the first thing I saw. LOLOL
I ♥ Lighthouses and what they represent. It's sad to know that computers and sonar have made their standing obsolete.
My R T is seaworthy...OUCH! Click here
I love Ruby Tuesdays at your place! Thanks so much for hosting this beautiful and fun event each week! Have a great day! Coralie
I thought it was just a house until you mentioned the lighthouse. Very pretty one too.
you have great photos here... i love that water painting...it is cool
It is extremely interesting for me to read that blog. Thanx for it. I like such themes and anything connected to this matter. I definitely want to read more soon.
I like your lighthouse. My first time to be here. I will be back.
Blessings!
Lovely print of a lovely lighthouse! And that tree--so beautiful. It's a shame the leaves are already nearly gone.
Happy Ruby Tuesday!
That tree is amazing and I would love to live in that house!
Beautiful :)
thats a lovely lighthouse :) and so is the tree! :)
u may view mine if u have time
I love the photo of the tree, it is such a gorgeous shade of red. That is the only thing I miss about not living in New England anymore... seeing that shade of red. I don't miss raking those leaves or the COLD that goes along with them.
I really like that framed lighthouse. Must have been some sublimal thing with you. Kept looking at the picture and it sent you vibes of lighthouses. LOL!
It's a cool house and quite the surprise effect with the lighthouse ontop.
love the painting a lot....:) stunning!
mine is up as well....:)
Excellent shot of the tree....incredible colors
Very nice lighthose - and here you got one from Norway ;)
I have a red house with a red door
