wonderful shot of a beautiful bermuda grass roof.
I love that grass on the roof. Excellent :)
What wonderful pictures. I must, however, add that this type of roof is not for sissies. Make sure you research before commiting to anything that resembles this.
It is supposed to truly save on utilities as the grass or thatched roof maintains a much more even temperature. Think of it as a Prius for your roof. :-)
these are so cool! Love your banner too.
http://rinklyrimes.blogspot.com/2009/09/fern-learn.htmlThe grassy roofs are most attractive and very conservationally useful I'm sure. But I fear they'd soon look like thatched roofs in our climate! That's why it's lovely to be able to bring you a 'green' shot of my area.
I love these Think Green shots! Excellent, indeed.Paz
Those green roofs add a lot to the beauty of a neighborhood. You found some special ones.I do remember them from Ireland, at Adare. Thank you for visiting on RT, my answer post finally got up. The instrument is a shekere made from a large gourd. I also found a YouTube to show how to play it for display on the answer post.....
Hello Mary...I love the green roof. It is great when those skyscrapers have some natural feature... Thank you for posting to Thinking Green Thursday.... Michelle
I suppose every person must read it.
