Robin, Alice is very sad that this is the end of this edition of Summer Stock Sunday. We all enjoyed participating very much! Thank you for hosting and we look forward to next summer.

Perfect for the last post of the season. My FIL lives in Nassau Cty. and when I come to Long Island for a long visit I need to stop at that museum.

My goodness, she looks devastated. I hope the rest of you survive our winter hiatus better than Alice!
Thank you so much for playing along Mary and helping to make Summer Stock so much fun.
This picture really shows the right mood. Too bad Summer and this fun series are over! I had fun. And so did you!
=(
Great picture. Now if you start playing "White Rabbit" maybe she will shrink.
What a wonderful illustrator. Max Hergenrother - I'll remember that name.
I like fall...bring it on! Colors and all.
Alice shows exactly how I feel about the end of summer.
Winter isn't nearly as much fun, and I for one could happily live with some sunshine in every month.
fun one Mary. It has been a fun summer of sharing pictures.
I was so certain that must be an illustrator from the Arthur Rackham era...but Google says he's a contemporary! Nicely done (I mean the print, the photo of the print, the coloring of the print, and selecting the print for summer stock :-).
Just think of how happy you'll all be when the winter break is over and the meme returns!
Very cool illustration, Mary. I agree - it captures my mood for the end of Summer Stock Sunday.
Jeez, it's not THAT bad! Well, thanks for sharing your Summer with me, hope to see you around!
You did an awesome job enhancing this and it is a great choice to say goodbye to Summer Stcok Sunday. Have a good one Mary
