Mellow Yellow Monday

The 20 m.p.h. exit sign was the only YELLOW I could find this week. But I thought the rest of the photo was interesting.  I shot this as we whizzed passed the Brooklyn Bridge on our way to Atlantic Ave, a couple of exits beyond this one. We were on our way to visit my nephew, his wife and their baby, Jarome.
I find it hard to pass up shooting the Brooklyn Bridge and lower Manhattan whenever we pass here.
Go visit Drowsy Monkey at Mellow Yellow Monday for more participants.

Just a touch of yellow is perfect to draw our eye to the bridge.

Excellent photo. I like it when the color is not taking up the whole picture :)

All those great layers are mesmerizing. And I didn't miss the bit of yellow. Nicely done!

The Brooklyn Bridge is a great subject. And you found just enough yellow here.

Not playing, just visiting and I thought I'd weigh in..;-)

Oh I love the Brooklyn Bridge -- it's so stodgy and sturdy looking, like it's so firmly PLANTED where it is.

My great-grandfather worked on the BB -- he was a former sailor and came over from Norway to work on the bridge --no fear of heights from his time climbing riggings. He lost his watch off the bridge!

Lovely picture of a fabulous NY landmark. Cass
