I hear you. But, I can't deny how his music made me feel or the great coming of age memories I have with his music in the background. Tragic in life, tragic in death but still a fixture of my youth.
This makes a great point that all people like to remember are the bad things in life. Forget about his musical genius what he did for charities and what he did for not only the music industry bit the entire entertainment industry. He is a true legend

I respected his talent. His private life was a mess and a real tragedy. Much to think about.

I like this post. I have a hard time listening to his music because of his deeds.
When I hear the stories of grown men who were misused as children, I'm horrified. It continues to happen.
