You probably can't go wrong with the standard roses ... a dozen. Box of chocolates were in pre-recession. But flowers always stay in style.

We have never celebrated Valentine's day. When we met it didn't exist and then we forgot. Anyway it's not so much celebrated here in Belgium.

Dear teach Mary,
I don't think my Gunnar will go for either of these inutilities.
He's inherited our daughter's two last i-pods for computer and car use.
I guess he'd settle for some expensive photo equipment though.
A good thing we don't celebrate Valentine's Day in Norway.
(Except for the occasional flower bouquets or box of chocolate.)
